Sven was born on the 7th of february 1989 in southern Dutch city of Tilburg. He's has had a passion for darts ever since he was eight years old when he started training hours and hours on the board. His father Frank was also fond of darts so it was only a matter of time before part of the living room was transformed into a 'dartcenter'. Sven started training at the T.D.V (Tilburgse Dart Vereniging) and after a while it became clear that he had a talent for the sport. The eight-year-old boy began bringing home prizes so someone in the family made a special display case for them. This case soon became way too small...
